Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, TN is seeking a Park Ambassador to welcome guests and guide them through our thrilling adventures atop the Smokies. You will promote safety, provide park knowledge, and help guests enjoy TreeVenture, BearVenture, Astra Lumina, and BirdVenture.

The role requires strong communication, enthusiasm, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather, including weekends and holidays. Join our friendly team dedicated to unforgettable experiences at the top of the Smokies.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and proactive personality.
• Ability to navigate uneven mountaintop terrain.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate guests about Adventure Elements including TreeVenture, BearVenture, Astra Lumina, and BirdVenture.
• Open and close adventure areas according to daily operating schedules.
• Monitor guest activity and ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed.
• Provide helpful park knowledge, wildlife facts, scenic recommendations, and photo opportunities.
• Serve as an approachable and reliable source of guest assistance throughout the day.
• Deliver clear safety instructions and confidently enforce posted regulations.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and positive attitude—even during peak visitation times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to push, pull, grasp, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move materials independently and with team assistance when necessary.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and stairs.
• Ability to safely handle heavy, bulky, or awkward items using proper lifting techniques and assistance as needed.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment with frequent movement and manual labor activities.
