Job summary

Holy Family Parish & School in Stow, OH, is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance/Custodian to keep church, school, and campus spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for parishioners, students, staff, and visitors.

The role reports to the Director of Facilities and involves cleaning, routine maintenance, and event setup/teardown. Compensation ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience, with on-site duties and weekend on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• Dependable and service-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned custodial duties throughout the church, school, and parish facilities.
• Assist the Director of Facilities with general maintenance and repair projects.
• Assist with room setup and teardown for parish events, meetings, and special functions.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, entrances, and other designated areas as needed.
• Move furniture, equipment, tables, and chairs to support parish activities and events.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility needs.
• Complete light maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and painting as needed.
• Maintain the appearance of parish grounds through landscaping assistance, litter removal, and seasonal maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Director of Facilities.
