Job summary

Saint Louis Academy in New Haven, IN is seeking a Custodial and Maintenance team member to care for school and church facilities. This full-time role supports a Catholic school community by maintaining a welcoming, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and basic hand and power tools preferred.
• Willingness to obtain certification in pesticide and weed-killer application is required.
• Physical stamina for long shifts and lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas daily.
• Perform minor repairs such as plumbing, lighting, and furniture maintenance.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of building and playground areas.
• Assist with setup and teardown for Masses, prayers, assemblies, and events.
• Handle seasonal grounds tasks including snow removal and general cleanup.
• Monitor and reorder cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock.
