Qualified candidates have an associate degree in business or accounting, 2+ years of parish or related experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks, UKG Payroll, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or accounting preferred.
• At least 2 years' parish or business accounting experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting practices and regulations.
• Commitment to Catholic church teaching and values.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, GiveCentral, UKG Payroll and MS Office.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Team player with a service mindset and confidentiality respect.

Responsibilities

• Handle all bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and staff reimbursements in QuickBooks.
• Prepare and post deposits to QuickBooks from GiveCentral, Venmo, Pay schools, and Square.
• Assist with weekly collection counts and finances related to fundraising events.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and year-end reports as requested.
• Support payroll processes and act as backup payroll administrator as needed.
• Maintain organized files and assist with internal controls.
