Job summary

Holy Cross Catholic Parish is seeking a Parish Business Operations Manager to lead operations, finances, HR and facilities. You will coordinate parish records, IT, risk management, and insurance programs while aligning with diocesan policies.

The role requires mentoring staff, managing budgets, and presenting at meetings with the Pastor and parish leadership. A strong Catholic ethos and collaboration across ministries are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Solid business operational experience.
• Practical Human Resources experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and to be flexible.
• Conducts oneself in a Catholic organization with ethical standards.
• Background check and credit check required.
• English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to parish operations across physical, financial, and human resources.
• Direct parish office management and oversee records and IT functions.
• Coordinate including insurance, facilities, and risk management.
• Prepare and monitor budgets; liaise with Diocese on finances.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; implement HR policies and evaluations.
• Train staff on ExponentHR; ensure policy adherence.
• Attend diocesan and parish meetings and report to pastor.
• Support event planning and parish activities as needed.
