Job summary

The Diocese of Orlando seeks a Parish Business Manager to support the Pastor in day-to-day operations, coordinating financial, administrative, and operational functions to steward parish resources effectively.

Responsibilities include facilities management, budgeting, payroll processing, and collaboration with diocesan offices to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliant operations within a faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least six years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in budgeting and financial oversight within a parish or nonprofit setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead administrative and operations staff.
• Familiarity with Catholic parish operations or a Catholic environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction, improvements, and repair projects with proper stewardship of parish resources.
• Oversee parish administrative functions, records, and communications with staff and external partners.
• Supervise administrative staff and coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Develop and administer the parish budget with the Pastor and Finance Council.
• Prepare payroll data and ensure internal controls and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with diocesan offices and DSAS on financial matters.
