Job summary

Peace of Christ Parish and St. Ambrose Academy is seeking a Finance Director to oversee financial affairs, develop annual operating plans, and guide long‑term fiscal strategy across parish and school operations.

The role leads budgeting, reporting, internal controls and staff supervision, reporting to the Pastor with dotted lines to the CFO. A CPA/MBA and 5–7 years of experience are preferred for strategic financial leadership in a faith‑based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, organize and implement the management of the entities’ financial activities.
• Develop fiscally sound annual operating plans and multi-year financial strategies.
• Oversee internal accounting controls and audits; ensure compliance with laws and diocesan policies.
• Provide timely analysis of budgets, financial reports and cash flow.
• Supervise finance staff and coordinate with Pastor, CFO and diocesan leadership.
• Coordinate capital planning and risk management for parish and school properties.
