Zusammenfassung

Bishop Miege Catholic High School is seeking a Controller/Director of Finance to manage the Business Office, oversee accounting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning in support of the Catholic mission. The role reports to the President and collaborates with the Board, Foundation Board, and Finance Committee.

The position averages 40 hours per week, with evenings as needed, and includes benefits and retirement plan.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree required.
• 10+ years experience in finance/Accounting preferred.
• Previous Controller experience preferred.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct the daily operations of the Business Office and supervise Business Office personnel.
• Oversee accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tuition, cash management, banking, investments, fixed assets, and financial records.
• Prepare timely monthly and annual financial statements and reports for leadership, Finance Committee, and Board.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor results against budget, explain variances.
• Develop long-range financial projections and provide analysis on enrollment, tuition, financial aid, staffing, and major decisions.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, reserves, and the school’s financial position.
• Coordinate with diocesan offices and outside service providers as appropriate.
