Job summary

Alpha School is hiring a Parent Relations Director to lead the trust, retention, and advocacy of every current family on campus. You will own four core responsibilities, make decisive calls, and collaborate with Guides to protect the coaching relationship and student outcomes.

On-site role across campuses, with competitive six-figure compensation and relocation support. You will drive community growth, admissions follow-through, and retention through trusted family partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families, clients, donors, or members.
• Ability to make firm decisions with demanding stakeholders without harming relationships.
• Willing to work on-site across campuses and travel as needed.
• Familiarity with independent/private education and community dynamics.
• Strong communication with affluent, high-expectation families.

Responsibilities

• Own every family on campus and lead the hard conversations from start to resolution.
• Operate as parent-facing co-leader with Guides, aligning before/after sensitive talks.
• Make real-time decisions in ambiguous situations and escalate correctly when needed.
• Build the campus community: traditions, networks, partnerships and trusted advocates.
• Own growth contributions per campus phase: admissions follow-through, retention, referrals.
