Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Parent Relations Director to lead trusted, family-facing conversations across multiple campuses, owning sensitive decisions and protecting educators’ authority. You will be the primary contact for families, ensuring transparent communication and a supportive yet firm approach.

You’ll collaborate with Guides to align before and after conversations, coordinate with campus leadership, and shape community life through events and partnerships, driving retention and advocacy for

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families, clients, or donors.
• Ability to make decisive calls with stakeholders in challenging situations.
• Experience in private/independent education or similar settings advantageous.
• Willingness to work on-site at multiple campuses across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead parent-facing conversations and own resolution of concerns.
• Partner with campus Guides to align on sensitive decisions and protect coaching relationships.
• Make real-time judgments in ambiguous family situations and escalate appropriately when needed.
• Build campus communities through parent networks, events, and local partnerships.
• Own growth and admissions follow-through when campus phase requires it, including retention and referrals.
