Job summary

Alpha School is hiring a Director of Family Relations to own and nurture every family on campus, lead difficult conversations, and ensure alignment with Guides. You will defend Alpha's unconventional model while driving retention, referrals, and community strength.

Responsibilities include coordinating parent networks, making real-time decisions in ambiguous situations, and owning campus growth for admissions and retention as the campus matures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families or clients.
• Ability to make firm decisions with demanding stakeholders.
• Proven track record in managing sensitive conversations with credibility.
• Independent ownership of ambiguous relationship, community, or growth outcomes.
• Willing to drive school growth and admissions follow-through when needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry the relationship with every family on campus and lead the hard conversations.
• Align before and after sensitive conversations with Guides and protect the coaching relationship.
• Make real-time judgments in ambiguous student/family situations and escalate when needed.
• Build campus community through events, partnerships, and parent networks.
• Own growth contribution for the campus phase, including admissions follow-through.
