Job summary

VIA Metro Transit is seeking a Paratransit Reservation Agent Part Time to handle reservations, answer inquiries, and coordinate with dispatch to estimate arrival times. The role supports customers requiring paratransit services and uses RideCo software daily.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least six months in customer service and data processing, with a preference for bilingual English/Spanish ability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; six months of customer service and data processing experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process paratransit reservations, manage trip modifications and cancellations.
• Respond to service inquiries and provide trip-related information to customers.
• Determine estimated arrival times for paratransit vehicles to accommodate appointments.
• Assist customers with VIA’s digital service tools and self-service options.
• Document and escalate customer concerns and service disruptions as needed.
• Cross-train to support additional Customer Care functions.
