Job summary

Bi-State Development in Missouri is seeking a Reservation Clerk to ensure efficient transportation scheduling for Metro Paratransit and Demand Response services. The position involves assisting customers with ADA-related questions and resolving ride-related issues using specialized software.

The role requires 1–3 years of customer service, a high school diploma, and the ability to work varying shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service or administrative experience with 1–3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service requests, reservations, cancellations, complaints and trip-related issues.
• Establish efficient routing and scheduling using telephone and specialized software; daily proofing of trips for accuracy.
• Comply with Medicaid and other providers' agreements the Agency engages with.
• Assist customers with inter-jurisdictional trips with partner Transit Agencies.
• Educate customers on Complementary Paratransit Service and Medicaid trip reservations.
• Print and prepare driver information for day of service.
• Work varying schedules including weekends; perform additional duties as required.
