Job summary

RATP Dev USA is hiring an Operations Manager for the Go Wake program in Raleigh, NC. The role is a permanent, full-time position requiring a minimum of five years of senior-level experience in transit operations.

You will train, lead, and develop operations personnel, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure service quality and safety compliance. Responsibilities include stakeholder communication, budgeting, and responding to ridership data while maintaining strong relations with the General

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience at a senior level in transit operations.
• Experience training, managing and developing operations personnel.
• Ability to handle union grievances and interpret collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains effective relationships and communication with the General Manager, peers and subordinates.
• Oversees and manages daily operations and customer service of the transit system through direct reports.
• Monitors ridership, fare collection and key performance indicators to improve operations; creates reports and analyses.
• Ensures operations comply with policies, regulations and public transit interests.
• Reviews and maintains accident investigations and customer complaints.
• Manages within the division's allocated budget.
• Available to client staff, advisory boards, and the riding public.

Profile

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include thefollowing: other duties may be assigned as necessary:

• Maintains aneffective working relationship and communication with the General Manager,peers and subordinates.
• Responsible for training, managing and development of operations personnel.
• Ability tobuild effective relationships, respond to union grievances, assist inarbitration, and interpret the union contract, where applicable.
• Oversees andmanages through direct reports the daily operations and customer serviceof the transit system.
• Monitors dataof ongoing ridership, fare collection, and key indicators to identify,evaluate, and improve performance. Creates reporting and analysis toimprove overall operations.
• Ensures thatoperations are consistent with adopted policies, governmental regulations,and the transit interests of the public.
• Responsible forreviewing and maintaining accident investigations and customer complaints.
• Responsible formanaging within the division’s allocated budget.
• Formulates andmaintains the SSEPP
• Is available tothe client’s staff, advisory and advocacy boards, outside organizations,and the riding public.

Pay Rate: $65K
