Pace, the Suburban Bus Division of the Regional Transportation Authority, seeks a Division Manager for Paratransit to oversee ADA and non-ADA services across Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will counties. You will manage 47 direct reports and coordinate reporting for grants, contracts, and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning or Administration or Logistics or equivalent experience.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in management of Paratransit or demand response transportation experience in similar service components.

Responsabilités

• Managing the daily operation of services and report to the Deputy Executive Director.
• Coordinating the development of all reports for service monitoring, project analysis, grants, Pace upper management and Board of Directors, Medicaid, FTA, NTD, etc.
• Make recommendations for operational changes; Make recommendations for software improvements (Oracle, SharePoint) and changes; Assist with implementation of Trapeze software, equipment and features, including training; Assess contractor performance data and make recommendations for service.
• Assisting internal departments with issues related to paratransit services- Accounting, Marketing, Planning, Purchasing, IT, and Human Resources.
• Training and developing staff as appropriate. Provide resources and counsel on best practices.
