Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Anchorage, Alaska. You will handle trip reservations, assist with eligibility applications, and support multiple departments to ensure smooth paratransit operations.

The role requires strong communication, data entry accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training in Trapeze software will be provided; prior transit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Excellent data entry with high accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and provide courteous, professional customer service.
• Schedule trip reservations accurately using Trapeze software.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer and trip information.
• Reconcile driver manifests and ensure accurate daily documentation.
• Assist customers with the ADA paratransit eligibility application process.
• Prepare eligibility determination letters and related correspondence.
• Prepare and process pre-paid ticket orders.
• Provide information regarding services, policies, fares, and scheduling.
• Support the Accounting Manager with administrative tasks as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
• Work collaboratively with Dispatch, Operations, Safety, and other departments to support daily service.
• Protect confidential customer information in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
