Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Road Supervisor to lead paratransit operations in Anchorage, Alaska. This field-based role ensures safe, reliable, and on-time service while supporting operators and maintaining compliance with DOT/FTA requirements.

You will coach drivers, promote a strong safety culture, and coordinate with Dispatch and Maintenance. A high school diploma or GED and supervisory transit experience are preferred, with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

MV Transportation is seeking a motivated Road Supervisor to support our paratransit operations in Anchorage, Alaska. This field‑based leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service while supporting operators, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining compliance with company, client, DOT, and FTA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily street operations to ensure safe, reliable, and on‑time service.
• Conduct ride checks, gate checks, field observations, and service audits.
• Respond to accidents, incidents, passenger concerns, and service disruptions.
• Support safety initiatives through coaching, observations, and policy compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and enter/exit transit vehicles throughout the day.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call assignments.

• Ability to meet all MV Transportation and client qualification requirements.
