Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Program Manager to lead the ADA Paratransit Eligibility Center operations and ensure compliant, timely delivery of eligibility assessments. You will coordinate assessments, mentor staff, and serve as the liaison between MTM and the client to meet contract requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in leadership for paratransit or similar programs, a relevant degree, and certifications may substitute for a degree.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or G.E.D.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Ancillary Health Care Profession, Business or related field
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in public transportation or related field
• 5+ years of management and operations of an ADA paratransit eligibility assessment program similar to or larger than OC Access
• Certifications can substitute for a Bachelor's degree (e.g., COTA, OT, PT)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of direct and non-direct reports to include the Assessment team members and support staff
• Establish a working relationship with the Client and act as a liaison to ensure their expectations are met
• Understand and interpret all aspects of the contracted program as SME
• Maintain working knowledge of MTM and Client software
• Educate the Client on MTM procedures to ensure contract compliance
• Review service delivery to ensure appropriate assessments are performed
• Respond to ADA eligibility complaints and document responses
• Mentor new employees and assist with staff development
• Conduct education training for employees on processes and procedures
• Work with support staff to ensure program effectiveness
• Evaluate assessments and determinations for accuracy
• Determine required functional assessments for applicants
• Make final eligibility determinations
• Maintain knowledge of cognitive/physical assessments and ADA
• Build rapport with applicant families and support networks
• Submit accurate reports in a timely manner
• Conform to MTM HIPAA standards
• Conduct one-on-one in-person interviews and functional assessments as needed
