Job summary

United Care ABA in New York is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism and their families. You'll provide direct, day-to-day support, aid with routines, communication, and behavior management, and collaborate with BCBA colleagues to ensure consistent care.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds; experience with children in schools, camps, or youth services helps, and RBT certification is preferred or eligible for

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in settings such as schools, after-school programs, camps, daycare, or youth services.
  • Passion for helping kids grow, learn and thrive.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and attention to detail.
  • Openness to training and feedback.
  • RBT certification (preferred) or willingness to complete certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to children with autism and their families.
