Job summary

United Care ABA in New York is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our mission-driven team serving children with autism and their families. We offer a supportive environment with flexible hours, in-home and center-based options, and clear pathways for growth.

As an RBT, you will work under BCBA supervision, collect data, implement behavior plans, and help clients develop communication and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete the certification before start date.
• Experience working with children in educational/behavioral settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; connect easily and take initiative.
• Detail-oriented and dependable; follow treatment plans and collect accurate data.
• Desire to help children grow and create a positive, consistent learning environment.
• Team player who values collaboration and learning from feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by clinical supervisors.
• Accurately collect and record data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA and participate in training and team meetings.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions with clients and families.

What We’re Looking For in a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete the certification process before your start date.
