Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is hiring paraprofessionals to join schools and support students with special needs. You will work with teachers to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a collaborative classroom environment.

Role involves assisting with mobility and personal care as needed, implementing behavior plans and IEP goals, and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere for all students.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 months of experience working with children.
• Prior experience with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management.
• Willingness to assist with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation.
• Team with teachers, therapists, and staff to support students.

School Hours | Monday – Friday | Pay: $18 - $20 per hour

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children
• Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management

Education (must have one of the following):

• A minimum of 60 hours of college credits, or
• Associate's degree or higher, or
• Passing score on Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment, or
• Completion of Missouri's online Substitute training program
• Supporting students one‑on‑one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
• Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
• Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
• Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
• Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
• Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
• You’ll be part of a collaborative, caring school community
