Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking a paraprofessional to support students in partnering school districts. The role involves assisting teachers and staff, supporting students with special needs, and helping implement IEP goals in a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

The position offers pay in the $20.20–$21.75 per hour range and full benefits through SHC. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally,

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with either a ParaPro exam score or an associate degree.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children.
• Experience with children with special needs or behavior management is preferred.
• Proficient in standard computer applications.

• Assist with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation as needed.

School Hours | Monday - Friday | Pay: $20.20 - $21.75 per hour

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND either a Passing Score on the ETS ParaPro Exam OR an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or at least two years of study (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) at an accredited college.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children
• Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management
• Proficient in the use of standard computer applications
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with existing staff
• Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
• Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
• Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
• Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
• Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
• Celebrating small victories every single day
• Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
