Job summary

Boston Public Schools, Office of Educator Development and Leadership, seeks a Teacher/Coach for Paraprofessional PD Facilitator. This stipend position reports to Co-chairs of BTU/BPS Paraprofessional PD Team and requires current BPS employment with classroom experience.

The role involves designing and delivering PD for paraprofessionals, coaching facilitators, and supporting evaluation efforts for the workshops, with a start date immediately and a project timeline through mid-2027.

Qualifications

Experience leading professional development and/or facilitating adult learning.
Experience working collaboratively with paraprofessionals in a classroom setting.
Minimum of 5 Years of Service in Boston Public Schools, with classroom experience.
Current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver training to prepare Paraprofessional Facilitators to develop and deliver professional development.
Coach Paraprofessional Facilitators during the program year (online or in-person).
Attend and support paraprofessional PD as they teach their courses.
Plan and prepare time independently.
Lead celebration of paraprofessional facilitators at year end.
Support evaluation efforts of workshops and provide feedback to the BTU/BPS team.
