Job summary

Marysville School District 25 seeks a paraprofessional to assist students under the direct supervision of certificated staff in classrooms or other learning environments. This in-district position operates on a 184-day, Monday–Friday schedule and reports to the Building Principal.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, attainment of required college credits or Paraprofessional Assessment, completion of mandated training, ability to assist with student care and behavior, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Official transcripts proving 72 quarter credit hours or an associate degree or higher, or Paraprofessional Assessment with 455+.
• Completion of 14 hours of Fundamental Course of Study training within first year of employment.
• Successful Washington State Patrol and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• Immunization proof if born 1/1/57 or later.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in one-to-one and small group settings to provide learning support.
• Assist teachers with learning materials and classroom tasks.
• Supervise students and maintain safety in assigned areas.
• Maintain student records and grades; coordinate with teachers regularly.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required; use district technology.
