Job summary

Marysville School District 25 is hiring two Paraprofessionals to assist students under certificated staff supervision in classrooms and learning environments. The role emphasizes direct student support, preparing instructional materials, and assisting with behavior management.

The positions require high school diploma or equivalent, valid paraprofessional assessment or higher degree, and completion of required training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Paraprofessional Assessment with required score or higher degree.
• 14 hours of Fundamental Course of Study training in first year.
• Ability to stoop, crouch, crawl, bend and stand for long periods.
• Experience and/or training with cultural, ethnic, and language diversity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students one-to-one and in small groups with learning support.
• Assist teachers in preparing learning materials, including making copies and visual aids.
• Support students with special needs, behavior techniques, and other activities.
• Maintain student records and grades as directed by teachers.
• Supervise students and enforce area rules to ensure safety.
• Use computers and district-adopted software and related technologies.
