Job summary

Roscoe Collegiate ISD is accepting applications for anticipated paraprofessional openings serving students at the Early Childhood Center (ECC) and Roscoe Elementary.

Positions involve instructional support, working with individuals and small groups, progress monitoring, and supervising students during daily activities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Meets applicable requirements for paraprofessional employment.
• Ability to work with children from early childhood through elementary age.
• Ability to provide consistent support to individual students and small groups.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, patient, flexible, and willing to learn.
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow district policies.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students and small groups.
• Provide targeted academic support and teacher-directed interventions.
• Assist with progress monitoring and collecting student data.
• Reinforce classroom instruction, routines, and expectations.
• Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally.
• Assist teachers with daily activities and routines.
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, transitions, lunch, and recess.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Roscoe Collegiate ISD is accepting applications for anticipated paraprofessional openings serving students at:

• Early Childhood Center (ECC) – 3-year-old program through Kindergarten

• Roscoe Elementary – Grades 1–5

We are seeking caring, dependable, and student-focused individuals who enjoy working with children and contributing to a collaborative school environment. Specific assignments will be determined based on campus and student needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing instructional and classroom support under the direction of certified staff

• Working with individual students and small groups

• Providing targeted academic support and teacher-directed interventions to reinforce identified skills

• Assisting with progress monitoring and collecting student data as directed

• Reinforcing classroom instruction, routines, and expectations

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and daily routines

• Supervising students during arrival, dismissal, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities

• Collaborating effectively with teachers, administrators, and other staff

• Performing other duties as assigned based on campus and student needs
