Job summary

Belmont Elementary School is seeking a Paraprofessional for a center-based program. The role supports instructional activities and assists with daily living and behavioral skills under the direction of a licensed nurse.

The position is 0.5 FTE with a starting salary of $17.50 per hour. Applicants must complete a background check and TB test; pre-employment physical is required.

Position Function: The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs, including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills, and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Starting Salary

$17.50/hour- commensurate with experience

Requirements:

• Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis).If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
