Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Paraprofessional for De Soto High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports intensive instructional programs, daily living and behavioral skills, and may include limited medical duties under a licensed nurse.

Starting at $17.50 per hour, the position is 0.5 FTE with a 3.75-hour workday and a 18.75-hour week. Applicants must meet health and background requirements and pass a pre-employment physical.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (preferred).
• Current Certification of Health, including TB test.
• Clear, criminal background check required.

Position Function: The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs, including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills, and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications Profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Starting Salary: $17.50/hour- commensurate with experience

Job Category: Classified, 174 workday calendar, 3.75 hrs/day (18.75 hrs/week)

Requirements:

• -Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis).If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• -Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
