Job summary

Prairie Ridge Elementary School in Unified School District No. 232 is seeking a Center-Based Paraprofessional for a 1.0 FTE position. The role supports intensive instructional programs, daily living and behavioral skills, and may provide medical care under a licensed nurse.

Position Function: The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs, including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills, and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications Profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Starting Salary: $17.50/hour- commensurate with experience

Requirements:
