Job summary

Cecil College seeks a Paramedic Program Director to lead and administer the national CoAEMSP-accredited paramedic program. The role involves coordination with the Dean, Assistant Director, and local EMS partners to arrange clinical rotations and ensure program quality.

The candidate must have an active Maryland paramedic license, a Bachelor’s degree, and at least three years of staff supervision. Strong communication, organizational, and data-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years of staff supervision preferred.
• Program administration experience within last 5 years preferred.
• Must hold active Maryland paramedic license.

Responsibilities

• Administer, organize, and supervise the paramedic program.
• Collaborate with Dean and Assistant Director to hire and supervise faculty.
• Assist with recruitment, marketing, and information sessions.
• Attend mandatory trainings and update student resources annually.
• Maintain student files and program records per CoAEMSP and Cecil College guidelines.
• Coordinate clinical field placements with EMS agencies and hospitals.
• Plan long-range program development and quality improvement.
• Supervise clinical and field internship preceptors.
