Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Paramedic) in Springfield, MO for a part-time role supporting plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review tests, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

Responsibilities include handling donor adverse events, assisting with vaccinations, and ensuring SOP compliance. EMT-Paramedic licensure and CPR/AED are required, with two years in a clinical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic licensed in the relevant state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfilling state requirements for basic IV therapy as applicable.
• FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent processes.
• Review donor lab results and manage donor adverse events.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health policies.
• Assist in donor transport during emergencies per SOPs.
