Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Paramedic for a part-time night shift at the Fort Worth campus. Responsibilities include providing safe patient care under physician supervision, collaborating with the healthcare team, and engaging families in care decisions.

Candidates need EMT-P, LP, ACLS, BCLS, PALS, CPI certifications or be willing to obtain them within required timeframes. The role includes night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship required.
• One (1) year of Paramedic experience preferred.
• EMT-P, LP, ACLS, BCLS, PALS, CPI required or to be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care under the delegation of appropriate Physician and competency sign-off.
• Respond to patients' privacy, safety and wellbeing needs with age-appropriate care and infection control measures.
• Engage family/caregivers in health care situations and collaborate with the care team to plan care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members; document accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in unit activities and contribute to a positive, professional work environment.

Paramedic Part-Time

Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104.

Work hours: 2x night shifts per week part-time, 7:00PM-7:00AM and includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Here’s What You Need

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Experience:

Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required.

One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required

LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required,

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.

Skills
