Job summary

AMR in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Paramedic who delivers compassionate, high-quality emergency care. The role involves leading on scene, applying advanced medical procedures, and coordinating care with other responders.

Starting hourly rate is $21.50 with DOE, and successful candidates will hold state paramedic license, CPR/BLS/ACLS, and EMT qualifications; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and valid State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record in line with policy and ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation and determine best course of action per paramedic protocols.
• Utilize pararamedic skills with medical equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
