Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential emergency medical knowledge and licensure as per Michigan requirements.
• Valid: BLS, ACLS, PALS, EMT-Paramedic certification.
• DMV record check and compliance with state/care standards.
• Ability to perform advanced invasive and noninvasive procedures in critical care.
• Capable of operating under incident command and EMS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and initiates intervention plans for medical and traumatic emergencies.
• Assesses patients during inter-hospital transfers and manages equipment needs.
• Oversees field medical management of ancillary rescue personnel and coordinating with authorities.
• Maintains and documents patient care reports and participates in public EMS education.
