Job summary

Mobile Medical Response in Escanaba, MI seeks a licensed Paramedic to provide advanced pre-hospital care and stabilize patients during transport in accordance with MDCH guidelines.

The role requires valid Michigan Paramedic credentials, ACLS, PHTLS/ITLS, and pediatric certifications within 6 months, plus strong English communication and computer skills. 12-hour shifts and emergency response duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed as Paramedic in Michigan.
• Valid Michigan driver license with clean driving record.
• Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
• PHTLS/ITLS trauma certification within 6 months.
• PALS/PEPP/PEARS pediatric certification within 6 months.
• ACLS provider certification within 6 months.
• EMS Safety certification within 6 months.
• FEMA NIMS IC-100.b, 200.b, 700 & 800.b on hire.
• SCT and FTO certifications within 6 months.
• Strong communication in English.
• Advanced computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Mission/Policy/Procedures and maintain standards of MMR.
• Care for patients, assess signs of injury or illness, assist others as needed.
• Provide prompt care and stabilize patients during transport.
• Prepare supplies/equipment to return unit to service quickly.
• Operate ambulance with safety and compliance to laws.
• Maintain vehicles and ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Communicate with medical controls and other services as required.
• Follow FCC regulations for communications equipment use.
• Complete initial/annual Bloodborne Pathogens training.
• Attend continuing education and refresher training as required.
