Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking an hourly EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Lab Professional to provide practical lab instruction for the EMT/AEMT/Paramedic program. The lab pro will supervise students, teach current procedures, and evaluate competencies at Savannah and Hinesville campuses, with travel between locations as needed.

The role requires NREMT certification, Georgia licensure, and a minimum of one year of EMT/AEMT or Paramedic experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently certified (NREMT) as an EMT/AEMT or Paramedic.
• Must have Georgia license at the EMT/AEMT or Paramedic level.
• Must have one year of work experience within the last two years as an EMT/AEMT or Paramedic.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and required insurability.
• Must possess oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates teaching techniques, testing, and grading procedures.
• Supervises students during lab operations.
• Instructs and evaluates in EMT/AEMT or Paramedic topics.
• Monitors supplies, materials, and equipment for safety and security.
• Attends required meetings and stays current with field trends.
• Maintains qualifications per policy and adheres to college procedures.
