Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking an hourly adjunct EMT instructor for the EMT program. The instructor will provide theory and clinical instruction enabling students to develop the skills necessary to become employed in their chosen profession.

Duties include teaching at the Savannah and Hinesville campuses, coordinating lectures, advisement, registration, and split teaching shifts; supervising students during patient care; maintaining grade books and records; and utilizing current teaching

Qualifications

• EMT knowledge and recent clinical experience.
• Current EMT- or paramedic-level certification (NREMT).
• Georgia EMS Instructor License (Level II) required.

Responsibilities

• Teach EMT theory and clinical instruction to students.
• Work at Savannah and Hinesville campuses; may travel between locations.
• Maintain grade books and records; follow syllabus and procedures.
