Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking an hourly Adjunct AEMT Instructor to provide both theory and clinical instruction at Savannah and Hinesville campuses. The role includes teaching didactic and clinical portions, advising students, and coordinating with the college to ensure safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of teaching in AEMT, current Georgia AEMT/Paramedic license, and Level II EMS Instructor License, with the ability to travel between campuses as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year teaching experience (40 hours/year) in an AEMT course.
• Current NREMT certification as AEMT/Paramedic and Georgia AEMT/Paramedic license.
• Level II EMS Instructor License is required.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support Instructor certification.
• Ability to teach didactic and clinical courses and supervise students during patient care.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and clinical courses as assigned.
• Supervise students during patient care and maintain safety and security.
• Prepare and maintain grade books and course records.
• Advertise and advise students; assist with registration and scheduling.
• Travel between Savannah and Hinesville campuses as needed.
