Qualified candidates must hold NREMT Paramedic certification, Georgia Paramedic license, Level III EMS Instructor License, and relevant teaching experience; ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of documented teaching experience in paramedic education.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification.
• Current Georgia Paramedic license.
• Level III EMS Instructor License.
• Two years of paramedic work experience in the last 3 years.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred but not required.
• Current Basic Life Support Instructor certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; proficient with online learning platforms (Blackboard).
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Teach both didactic and clinical courses as assigned and follow approved course syllabi.
• Plan and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and lab activities; maintain grade books and records.
• Advise students and assist with registration and scheduling.
• Travel between Savannah and Hinesville campuses and manage split teaching shifts as needed.
• Ensure safety and security of training areas and supplies; stay updated on field trends.
