Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics for immediate, full-time opportunities in Robinson, Texas. You will deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses, operate defibrillators and EKG monitors, and lead on-scene operations.

Qualified candidates hold a State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driver's license. Sign-on bonuses apply: $7,500 for 1-year contracts or $15,000 for 2-year contracts.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications listed.
• Drive record compliant with policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance of care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
