Job summary

AMR in Texas is hiring Paramedics for full-time roles to deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses. You will assess calls, operate medical equipment, and lead on-scene care with a professional team.

Qualifications

Requires High school diploma or GED, Paramedic license and driver’s license.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
Driving record compliant with company policy and ability to pass agility test.
Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine the best course of action according to Paramedic protocols.
Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
Communicate with patients and families to inform and reassure care is being provided.
Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety colleagues.
