Job summary

American Medical Response in Abilene, TX is seeking a full-time Paramedic to deliver advanced patient care on 911 calls with compassion and professionalism.

You will operate defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and IVs, lead scenes, and drive ambulances while collaborating with public safety partners to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Must hold State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic and a valid driver’s license. A $5,000 Sign-On Bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine best action and follow Paramedic protocols.
• Use defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices and IVs to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and family to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the scene and manage unit as needed; drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs.
