Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Paramedic to serve as the primary director of care in emergency and non-emergency situations in Springfield, MO. You will provide rapid assessment, administer immediate medical care, and document all actions under EMS supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsible for examining, evaluating and providing quick diagnoses in order to administer immediate and proper medical care. Responsible for providing basic medical support including CPR, AED, ventilation, controlling hemorrhaging, etc. The Paramedic also performs more invasive techniques to stabilize the patient’s condition. The Paramedic is responsible for documenting all aspects of care provided under their direction by EMS services.
