Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
State Paramedic License required.
State Driver's License required.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS/ITLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action in a 911 system with progressive Paramedic protocols (≈17,000 calls/year).
Utilize Paramedic skills in a progressive medical system to full scope for Oregon Paramedics.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
