AMR Josephine County is hiring Paramedics to provide ALS care and transport in a busy 911 system serving the Rogue River Valley. Join a team that supports career development, tuition reimbursement, and a robust peer support program in southern Oregon.

Qualifications

State Paramedic License required.
State Driver’s License required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS certifications required.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action in a 911 system.
Utilize paramedic skills in a progressive medical system to full scope.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
Serve as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
