AMR Josephine County in Southern Oregon is looking for Paramedics to deliver ALS care within a busy 911 system, handling about 17,000 calls per year. You will play a critical role on the EMS front line and contribute to high-quality patient care in a progressive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations to determine best action within 911 system.
• Utilize paramedic skills per Oregon protocols.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene/unit as needed.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
