Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics to join the Rogue Valley EMS network in Southern Oregon. You will deliver ALS care in a fast-paced 911 system and transport patients, with opportunities for career growth through GMR and national deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action in a 911 system with ~17,000 calls/year.
• Utilize Paramedic skills to the full scope for an Oregon Paramedic.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Work collaboratively with allied health/public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
