Job summary

AMR in the Rogue River Valley of Southern Oregon is hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a progressive EMS 911 system. With ~17,000 calls per year, you will provide ALS care and transport in a fast-paced operation while enjoying outdoor living in this region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver's License required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS/ITLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action within a 911 system.
• Utilize Paramedic skills to the full scope of an Oregon Paramedic.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
