Job summary

AMR Josephine County in Grants Pass, Oregon, is seeking Paramedics to deliver ALS care in a fast-paced 911 system serving the Rogue Valley. You will assess calls, lead scenes, and transport patients while providing high-quality patient care and staying active in a community-focused EMS environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License and State Driver's License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS certification.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best course of action in a 911 system.
• Apply Paramedic protocols and provide ALS care to patients.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
