Job summary

AMR Josephine County, Grants Pass, Oregon, is hiring Paramedics to join a progressive EMS 911 system with about 17,000 calls per year. You will provide ALS care and transport while enjoying outdoor-accessible living in the Rogue River Valley.

Qualifications

State Paramedic License and driver's license required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS/ITLS certifications required or preferred.
Pass Physical Agility Test; driving record compliant with policy.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine best action in a 911 system (~17,000/year).
Utilize paramedic skills to full scope within Oregon's system.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
